Crab and avocado breakfast

What better way to start your sugar free day than with a fresh and tasty breakfast, infused with zingy, spicy flavours with a chilli punch!

Breakfast can be a dangerous time for sugar intake, with simple things like an orange juice putting you over your recommended daily allowance.

It looks and tastes like it should take a lot longer to prepare but can literally be put together in minutes.

This recipe also uses up left over ingredients (See crab courgetti).

Often over looked in the kitchen, crab meat is versatile and delicious.

We used potted crab meat here versus fresh to keep this an affordable meal.

Of course fresh crab meat would work perfectly too!

Its a great pre-work out breakfast that's filling and sets you up for the day.

Quick, simple and BIG on flavours.

INGREDIENTS

1 x Avocado

150gm of crab meat (tinned or fresh)

Juice of half a Lemon or Lime

Chilli Flakes

Pinch of salt to season

METHOD

Peel and de stone the avocado, cut in half length ways. Drain the crab meat if tinned, add to a bowl.

Add the juice from half a lemon, chilli flakes and salt for seasoning.

Mix together and top the avocado halves.
